There is a very interesting aspect of how The Frog is a delicacy in The Orient. Cuisine aficionados insist that if not cooked live, the preparation is for naught.
So, the cook first fills a big vessel with water and starts boiling it. The Frog – known for its ability to regulate its body temperature to its surroundings – is then immersed in the water. Naturally, it regulates its temperature enough to get comfortable and adapt.
As the temperature increases, so does the frog keep regulating and adjusting.
Finally, when the water is boiling to such an extent that the frog can adapt no more, it starts thinking about escape. But by now, having used up its entire energy to adjust, The Frog is unable to move and is slowly meets its end.
